Pre-Conference Training Day

May 4th is training day! Before the official start of our conference, NDASA will devote an entire day to professional training. Keynote Speaker: General Barry McCaffrey

We are pleased to announce that former director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, Gen. Barry McCaffrey, USA (Ret.), will be the 2022 NDASA Annual Conference Keynote Speaker.

General McCaffrey served in the United States Army for 32 years and retired as a four-star general. At retirement, he was the most highly decorated serving general, having been awarded three Purple Heart medals (wounded in combat three times), two Distinguished Service Crosses (the nation’s second highest award for valor) and two Silver Stars for valor.

McCaffrey led the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), for five years after leaving the military. Upon leaving government service, he was named the Bradley Distinguished Professor of International Security Studies (2001-2005); and taught international security studies at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY from 2006-2010. 

Currently, General McCaffrey is president of BR McCaffrey Associates, a consulting firm in Alexandria, VA.

Registration Cancellation Policy: (a) Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to May 4th will be charged a $50 administrative fee, with the remaining balance refunded. (b) Cancellations made 60-90 days prior to May 4th will be refunded 75%. (c) Cancellations made  31-59 days prior to May 4th will be refunded 50%. (d) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to May 4th are transferable only, with no refunds issued.
