Kate has extensive, recent experience speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences about THC detection, impairment, and workplace safety: •2024 Intoxilyzer Users Group Annual Conference – Presented trends in THC use and detection to an audience of law enforcement officers from across the U.S., with a focus on emerging oral fluid technologies and multi-drug testing at the roadside. •OBIO (Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization) – Women in Medtech Panelist (2024) •OBIO industry event – Presenter •Multiple pitch competitions – Winner of the 2024 “Pitch to the Chief” competition, presenting eye3’s oral fluid THC testing platform to Canadian police chiefs •Additional invited talks for academic and innovation audiences such as University of Guelph session on machine learning in diagnostic testing, focusing on the intersection of AI, diagnostics, and drug testing.
