Managing the impacts of cannabis in the workplace is one of the biggest challenges faced by most employers. It’s a well-known fact within our industry. What isn’t as well known is how to customize a drug testing program to help employers manage workplace health and safety and address the expanding trend of pervasive use. We all know that navigating the federal and state regulations in this context is a struggle, to the point that many employers have “given up” – thrown their hands in the air – and removed cannabis from their testing panel.
