SATS Urgent Care, formerly Health Awareness Enterprises Inc., was established in 1987 when it became apparent that collections for drug testing and DOT physicals were being conducted in multiple settings by individuals that were not knowledgeable of the special requirements for these tests. The collection, documentation and maintenance of records is a complex matter with regular offices unaware of the changing policies and procedures. Our company has provided drug and alcohol collections for both regulated and non-regulated industries. We currently provide complete third party administration to over 200 companies and collection services for 300 more. This entails the task of ensuring that these companies are in compliance with all federal drug and alcohol testing rules and regulations. Our team members are certified experts in the collection and documentation of drug and alcohol tests. It is a fact that the transportation industry is constantly evolving making it even more important that regulated employers work with a company experienced in servicing this niche market. SATS Urgent Care is the only full time drug and alcohol collection facility that specializes in servicing the transportation industry in Savannah, Georgia and providing 24 hours a day 7 days a week coverage for post accidents. Unlike a typical physician's office our facility is set up so that it is much more difficult for a client to bring in a specimen or cheat the test. When necessary and per federal regulations all female collections are completed by female collectors and male collections by male collectors. The only exception to this rule is for after-hours collections. In that, case a female collector must be requested and every effort will be made to provide one.Our company is ready to service your needs with over 30 years of experience in managing DOT/CDL programs, including random selection, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and post accident testing. An annual drug testing statistics report is also provided to each client for their records. In addition, records are also maintained at the facility in the event of an audit. In 2017, our facility expanded to include a state of the art urgent care clinic to address the lack of health care coverage for individuals and families in our transportation and Hispanic communities. We provide fast affordable services at a fraction of the cost of an emergency room visit. Our facility treats minor ailments and injuries from pediatric to adult clients. We also manage chronic illnesses as well as provide lab, diagnostic testing, x-ray services and are the local TWIC enrollment center. This makes us your "One Stop Shop" for all of your occupational and urgent care needs.
