A specialized training program for seasoned Substance Abuse Professionals
Join expert trainer and veteran Substance Abuse Professional, David Perlman, BA, NCAC II, SUDP, CC, EAP for two days of intensive training during NDASA’s 2025 Conference & Trade Show in Jacksonville, Florida. conference.
This course is NOT meant to prepare you for the initial SAP examination but is designed to offer advanced training to experienced SAPs to satisfy their tri-annual CEU requirement.
This is a unique learning opportunity for experienced Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) to fulfill the 12 hours of CEUs required by the Department of Transportation every three years, and go beyond the typical training for initial qualification.
The program will focus on working with experienced SAPs (3 years or more) to expand their knowledge of best practices, the latest breaking updates regarding DOT rules and compliance, and skillfully handling the minutia of daily duties.
We will help you stand out in a crowd of competitors so you can make your mark as a highly credible resource for DOT compliance.
A note on receiving credit for CEUs earned during this training:
During each 3-year period following satisfactory completion of your examination, you must complete at least 12 professional development hours (e.g., Continuing Education Units) relevant to your performing SAP duties.
For Example, if you successfully completed the SAP exam in April 2022, you must earn at least 12 CEUs by April 2025 to retain your qualification, or if you passed the SAP exam in April 2023, you must earn your CEUs by April 2026, and so on.
