September Webinar: FMCSA’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and upcoming implementation of the Clearinghouse Il Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse was implemented in January 2020 and currently has more than 5.4 million registered users, with 287,984 violations reported.
Implementation of the FMCSA’s new Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse 2 Final Rule is a priority under the Department of Transportation’s National Roadway Safety Strategy (NRSS). Beginning November 18, 2024, State Driver License Agencies (SDLAs) will be required to remove the commercial driving privileges of more than 175,000 commercial drivers with a “prohibited” status in the Clearinghouse until the driver completes the DOT return-to-duty (RTD) process.
