William Brooks

Dr. Bill Brooks was a founding member of NDASA’s Board of Directors and the association’s first Vice Chairman. He is a medical doctor and advanced trauma specialist who serves as president of Orlando, Florida-based ADVANTAGE CARE INC., a nationally recognized provider of MRO and TPA services as well as drug, alcohol and DNA testing. With more than 40 years in the drug and alcohol testing industry, Bill has experience as a collector, trainer, MRO-A and MRO-C and helped develop the State of Florida’s Drug Free Workplace regulations. Bill is an industry leader, who is a member and volunteer with multiple related organizations including the American Association of Medical Review Officers and the Medical Review Officer Certification Council as well as the Orange County Coalition for a Drug Free Community. He has extensive experience in the areas of business building, membership development, sponsorship solicitation, management, training and conference planning. Bill received his medical degree in 1983 at the American University of the Caribbean and trained at UNIREMHOS-School of Medicine. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary sciences acquired at the University of South Florida in 1981 and paramedic certification.
