TDDA commenced in 2005 as a small third-party drug and alcohol testing provider in New Zealand. Apart from being a business owner, over the years I have been involved in almost every aspect of our business from serving on boards to operational management.  I regularly advise industry on the current state of drug and alcohol testing in our part of the world.

Please list any groups, organization or businesses that you could serve as a liaison to advocate for on behalf of NDASA:*

Please list any publications, presentations, awards/honours relevant to NDASA:

  • Co-presented at an expert panel workshop in 2023 around medicinal cannabis in both New Zealand and Australia
  • Co-presented at an expert panel workshop focussing on future drug testing, in both New Zealand and Australia.

Please tell us anything else you’d like to share : As a current board member of the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA) and the Chair of the International Committee, I am writing to express my enthusiasm and eagerness to continue serving on the NDASA Board for another term. Over the last three years, it has been an honor to contribute to the growth and success of NDASA, and I am excited about the future possibilities for our organization. In my role as Chair of the International Committee, I have worked alongside a dedicated team to represent NDASA internationally and lead several key initiatives that have advanced our membership and outreach. Among our achievements, we have successfully updated NDASA’s webpage to better serve our global audience, and our team plays a pivotal role in the development and vetting of the NDASA International Accreditation Application process. These initiatives have positioned NDASA as a trusted authority not only in the U.S. but on the global stage as well. With the recent elevation of the International Committee to Council status, we are presented with a unique opportunity to further our mission of advancing drug and alcohol testing standards worldwide. I am deeply committed to ensuring that NDASA remains at the forefront of both national and international efforts. There are numerous countries that already have strong drug testing protocols in place, and NDASA can continue to foster relationships with these nations to share best practices. At the same time, we have a tremendous opportunity to assist developing nations in achieving world-class, gold-standard drug and alcohol testing. As a passionate advocate for NDASA’s mission, I remain dedicated to being the voice of NDASA in our region and beyond. I am excited about the future initiatives we can push forward to strengthen NDASA’s presence on the global stage, enhance our membership, and ensure we are an essential resource for professionals in the drug and alcohol testing industry worldwide. I would be honoured to continue my service on the NDASA Board and to contribute to the organization’s growth and continued success. I look forward to working with fellow board members to make NDASA an even more influential force in both the national and international drug and alcohol testing landscape.
